G.I. Joe with the Kung-Fu grip!

The boys down the street, Kevin and John, had this multi-hued hair version of
 the classic 1970's G.I. Joe. If you had one, you know what I mean – he looked like he had
 brown hair, but it was actually hundreds of individual hairs in various shades of
tan, green, blue, yellow, and red.  And what was up with that facial hair?
 Was that really allowed?
